About me…
Tia is a lifelong performer and storyteller from LA, yes, LA. Back when Malibu was perfumed with horsehair, weed, and surf wax and Sunset smelled of gardenias and vodka. She has acted in TV, film, and stage for twenty-five years. Tia's a devoted actor, writer, mother, partner, and a nature-lover -- who loves a night on the town.
She worked with The Polish Brothers and Joss Whedon on "Buffy." Studied filmmaking with Joan Scheckel and acting with John Ruskin and Deborah Headwall, to name a few. Created films that weave into live aerial performances for The LA Women's Theatre Festival, TEDX, Boobie Trap, and Theatrical Botanicum.
Tia's first screenplay, "Why I Love The Circus," was recognized and awarded by seven festivals. Her new pilot takes on abortion in the US.
A creative force passionate about wellness, cooking, and old movies: when she's not working, you might find her learning to dance flamenco, reading, and doing pull-ups. Oh, and hiking her giant Anatolian Shepard, Chief.
